Fire Lily Films is a video production service company catering to clients and the greater film industry offering cinematography, drone and editing.

Matt Holland (Director/DOP/Editor)

Matt is a Saskatchewan based filmmaker whose been working professionally for over a decade specializing in directing, cinematography and editing. He got his start in the industry working in the lighting department on TV shows and feature films.

After completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film he moved into the world of documentary, directing, shooting and editing thousands of unique stories all around the globe. Matt has directed several short films winning ‘Best Genre Short’ at the Bloody International Film Festival for Malignance and two Golden Sheafs at the Yorkton International Film Festival for short documentaries Howland’s Honey and Geoff the Painter. He has been recognized by the Saskatchewan Arts Board as an established artist.

Matt is an avid nature cinematographer, shooting all over the world in some of the most reclusive places like Machu Picchu, the Cliffs of Moher and the Canadian Arctic.

He is a fully insured and Transport Canada certified drone pilot with hundreds of hours of experience.

Matt is a frequent collaborator with Saskatchewan based professional and emerging artists throughout the province and genuinely loves the process of creation.
